So you have found your way onto my blog and now you want to know a bit about me?
Well, I have delved deep into the depths of my imagination and resurfaced with many fantastical treasures that are on my list to turn into novels. I am also an avid travel enthusiast, foodie, game/movie/book nerd, and caffeine addict.
Need a bit more?
Well I graduated from Missouri State University (Go Bears!) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality and Restaurant Administration with emphasis in Tourism Management, Club Management, Food & Beverage Management, and General Operations. Yes, it really is a mouthful and difficult to list on anything…
More, you say?
Well, I currently live in Springfield, MO, but am from the SUPER small town of Matthews, MO. Don’t worry, you probably have no idea where that is unless you’re from that area.
What do I look like?
(It is a rare occasion that you will ever see me without that hat on.)
So, why am I writing if my degree is in Hospitality?
Simply put, I NEED to write. For too long, stories and ideas were beginning to pile up in my head and I didn’t know what to do with them. One day, I randomly decided to write down one of the ideas and found that I enjoyed it (the story was short and after looking back at it, it was rough to read). Now that I’ve gotten past that and worked on my writing, I am now working on writing a fantasy novel series.
Fantasy is just where my mind feels like it has the most freedom. Also, I LOVE world-building. Creation of worlds on such a massive scale drives me to make sure that the story is worthy of being present in it.
Well, that should be enough for now. Feel free to follow this blog and my social media pages to keep up with my writing progress and the randomness of my life. It can be pretty interesting…and odd.
