Guess Who’s Back?

I’M BAAAAAAACCCCCCKKKK!!! 😀

Terribly sorry about not having any posts up in FOREVER, but I hope to do better from now on. And since it has been a while since I’ve updated anyone (aside from those who follow me on Twitter) on my writing, here are a few updates for you all:

• Project H has been put on hold for the time being. I was starting to feel burnt out on it and REALLY didn’t want it ruined for me, since it was my first major project I came up with and I believe it has so much potential. I’d rather come back to it refreshed and dedicated.

• In the meantime, I’ve been working on a new project that I’ve dubbed on Twitter as #kleptoWIP. (Follow me on Twitter @TheCalebCrum or search that hashtag to find a few little goodies about it.) This one I have a really good feeling about and can’t wait to see how the story develops.

• Along with #kleptoWIP, I’ve been messing around with a few projects that I’ve had sitting in wait to develop. While #kleptoWIP is my current focus, it’s fun to take a break every once in a while and jump into another story (you know, to keep things fresh).

• I’ve been reading A LOT more in my genre and I can definitely say this: IT HELPS. Knowing the ways other authors are approaching their writing helps in the development of my own. When I look back at some of my old short stories, I can definitely tell that a lot of progress has been made (they weren’t bad…just…not great).

Again, sorry to have been away for so long, but you know how life is. I’ll try to keep everyone updated on new developments with #kleptoWIP and my many other projects.
